today I'm going to show you how to rank your YouTube videos on Google this is a Blog that I started just under two months ago and as you can see it’s already gotten short views from Google so you might be thinking short views aren't much but it's actually really hard to get four views right away within the first month of starting a website or even a Blog from Google so I'm going to show you how I

 account on adsgoogle.com so that's ads Google com so this is the Google Ad Words platform so no we're not going to be running any ads or anything like that but just going to be using the tool called the Keyword planner so this is a free tool that you can use so once you make an account just click on this little Settings icon right here it's a little gear icon and click on the keyword planner tool and this page will come up and click on discover new keywords so this is where we start putting in keywords that we

 want to rank for so let's say you have a cooking channel you would just type in how to cook eggs right here and you can check how often people search up these keywords and where these search terms are coming from like which locations and all of that so the niche that I'm going to start with is Katoch so people who want to learn how to play the guitar so I just typed in how to play the guitar on Google here and if you scroll down you can see some YouTube videos right here so this is where we rank our videos

 

 so this wasn’t here before this has only been here for about two years and it's been a really great way to get some views from Google so you want to get your video inside this place here so the first thing you have to do just type in how to play the guitars just some keyword ideas in it how to play guitar and I'm going to hit enter and right here you can also put in some website but we're not trying to rank for a website we're trying to rank for a YouTube video so you can just leave this pot empty and just click on

 

 get results so I'll put them right over here under locations make sure you put in more locations in here so right now it's just New Zealand so I'm just going to put in the United States because I want to rank the United States as well I also want to rank in Canada United Kingdom and Australia so those are like the five English-speaking countries that I want to rank for and then click on save and then it's going to show you all the results for all of those countries put together so hard to play the guitar that's the

 

 the keyword that we're looking for and it shows you how often this keyword is searched every single month it’s getting searched up ten thousand to a hundred thousand times per month so that’s quite a high number but it shows you the competition as well so how easy is it to rank for this keyword so it’s medium so you want to go for those ones that have like a low number of keywords to rank for and usually I go for the ones that are like a hundred to a thousand so right now these ones are quite high and

 

 I'm going to show you how to get these competitions at low soon but let me just explain what all of these are as well so this right here is when people actually advertise for these keywords so you don't really need to worry about this but basically it means when someone searches up how to play the guitar and if you want to advertise so these are all ads here at the top you can tell it's an ad bike seeing this

 

 little ad icon and if you want to get your ad here at the top it's going to cost you anywhere between 63 cents to five dollars and 81 cents so that’s what that means so you don't really need to worry about that for now I want to explain why I try to rank for the keywords that only get a hundred to thousand searches per month wouldn't it be better to rank for the keywords that get ten thousand to a hundred thousand searches per month well the ones that get ten thousand to hundred thousand searches every

 a single month has really high competition so these are the keywords I just searched how to play the guitar which has really high competition and these are the YouTube videos that are ranking and all of these YouTube videos have like hundreds of thousands of views with hundreds of thousands of subscribers and you’re not just you're not going to be able to compete with them as a small you tuber so

 you have to go for the keywords that have really low search volume so what I do is I try to find six different keywords within the same niche that have a hundred to a thousand searches per month and I would put one keyword as the title and the other keywords in the description and the rest of them in the tags so I'll show you how to do the tag soon but they're mostly going to focus on the keywords I mean on the title and the description for now so altogether this one equals six hundred to six thousand

 

 monthly searches per month on average so you have to put in all of those keywords with this monthly search every single month and if you do that then you have a much higher chance of actually ranking your video and I’ll show you how to do that within the guitar niche but this works on any niches you need to install this Google Chrome extension called keywords everywhere so it's key words everywhere calm and you can install this on Google Chrome and on Firefox as well so once you install it you

 

 should see this little K icon on the top right-hand corner so now every time you go into Google and you search up a keyword like how to play the guitar you can see some more suggested keywords on the side right here so what I look for is keywords like long tail keywords like this one here how to play the guitar for beginners step by step so these long tail keywords are the ones with the low competition so search up a keyword and then copy that longest keyword in there and click on copy and go into

 

 keywords everywhere and I'm just going to paste in that keyword and click on get results so it’s telling me that this keyword gets a hundred to a thousand searches every single month and the competition is low that's exactly what I'm looking for so this could be the title of my videos I'm going to make a video on how to play the guitar for beginners step by step so let’s go into the word document and just over here I'm just going to put in the title so now I'm going to look for about four-five to four to five

 different keywords for the description now I'll also show you how to find some keywords for the tags as well so to get some keywords for the description just go back here and you're going to look for more suggested keywords these are some keyword ideas here and these also need to be a hundred to a thousand searches every single month and also have low competition as well so these ones only have a 10 to a hundred searches per month but these ones are good for the tags so what I would do is would

 

 just copy this and I'll just paste these into the tags so these would be in the tags section of your video what you need to remember is 10 to 100 times per month for the tags at hundred to a thousand times per month is the title and the descriptions and let's just copy all of them here so I do this before every single video, not every single video just for a video that I’m trying to rank on Google so I

 

 do all of this research right here to get my to try to get my video ranked so if you’d actually do all of this properly and you can definitely get multiple videos ranked and even for keywords that you weren’t even trying to rank for you will end up ranking for it so a space ball is so already we found a bunch of

really good keywords just for the tag section right there so like learn how to play the guitar for beginners learn how to play the guitar step-by-step so all of them have step-by-step in the keywords so maybe you could be like dominating the step-by-step keyword within a guitar niche so now let's try finding some keywords for the description and these need to be similar to the title just with a hundred to a thousand searches month and have low competition as wells just like before I'm just going to copy the title and let's first place paste it into the keyword planner and I'm going to click on get results so we still

 only get the same suggestions as before so these don't have a hundred to a thousand searches per month this one has high competition so I wouldn't go for this one you can also take that same keyword and just paste it into Google and just hit search and see what keywords everywhere will show you so i

 sometimes takes a while for keywords everywhere to load up but it usually does so let's look through these ones here so how to learn to play guitar by yourself so let's try that so that's a long keyword right there and yeah those these ones also pretty good so let's try all of these ones out as well so let's paste

 about five of those so let's go back and this one that has high competition and these ones also have medium to high competent competition so this one's the only good one so I can paste that one in there so the one that we just got and click on get search results and let's see here so these ones also have high competition and low amount of search volume so that’s not good so let's go back and try it here so this

 is what you do just does take some time to just repeatedly copy and paste all these different keywords and get different keyword ideas and eventually you will find those keywords that you need to learn to play the guitar best way to learn it's a good one best way to learn guitar online free so let’s try that let's

 copy this and let’s paste this one into keyword planner and let’s see let's look for the low one so there are no low competition ones here so let’s go back and paste this into Google and let's see what keywords everywhere will show us so sometimes you have to hit refresh to get this to load up properly so I had to plant so we got that one how biscuit our websites no easy way to learn guitar okay so that sounds like

 good keyword so let's try that easy way to learn guitar inter okay so this is a good one eat easy way to play f-code so I don't really know much about guitars but I think that's something to do with guitars but I'll just copy and paste that wasn't anyway so we got two so far let’s try this one easy way to play F on guitar okay that's good let's copy that and let's also take this one here so all of these have a hundred to a

 a thousand searches per month and has low competition that's good let's copy this and paste this one here so we got four so far you just need one more or two more easy code guitar easy C code guitars stood on I don't really know what that means but I'll just do a quick Google search so I can actually write

 Australia might have really high competition but we might be able to find a great keyword and that free guitar lesson said to enter you can also do multiple you can put in multiple keywords in this I'll show you some other ones as well so here we go best free guitar lessons that are really good keyword low competition and it could search volume so taste that in so we got six keywords now and

 you can keep putting in more if you want but usually, more doesn't mean you have a higher chance of ranking it’s usually like the sweet spot I found that usually about five keywords in the description rank really well so now what I do is I write up a good description with all of these keywords in

 here so what I'm going to do is to speed up the video and I'm going to write about 100 to 200 words and I'm going to Putin the keywords these keywords in that description so there are the descriptions those yellow highlights are the keywords so what I did is I just took some of these keywords and I just kind of sprinkle them around the descriptions what you need to do is just copy and paste this into your

 description paste this into your title and what you could also do is you can just take this pot here where it says best free guitar lessons copy that and you can put in a little line and just type in best free Qatar lesson so that's two different keywords within your title and you've also got that keyword between your description as well so this is really well optimized for ranking on Google so all 

of these words here I think that's about let's see how many words it is so the word count so that’s about 117 words so usually I type in about hundred to 200 words in the description and also make sure that all the keywords are within the description as well so that's how you rank your videos on Google and that's how I got my videos to rank within the first month of launch you can't expect this to you can't just

 expect to rank right away so your first video won't rank your second video probably won't rank either you have to upload at least ten different videos and eventually at least one of those videos will rank and then when that one video starts getting views then those viewers will also view your other videos and if those start getting used then those videos will also start ranking and eventually you'll start
